How to get your P1 Provisional Licence
There are two levels of Provisional licence; P1 and P2. The P1 licence is the second stage of the Graduated Licensing Scheme (GLS). A P1 licence holder may drive unsupervised under restricted conditions. To gain a P1 Provisional licence a learner driver must attend a Customer Service Centre and:
- Present a log book of 75 hours of on road driving with a Qualified Supervising Driver
- Present evidence of completing a VORT or a CBT course
- Present a current Learner’s permit (held for at least twelve months)
