Thank you for the information provided in your email. I attended the meeting last week and thoroughly enjoyed listening to you. As a relatively new MDI (3yrs), your talk and ideas were very interesting. I understand now just how important it is to explain in great detail how the VORT recording sheet works to my students. I’ve often waived one in front of their face and explained a few things. However, your explanations have shown to me just how important it is for the learner to understand it as well. I’m spending more time now going through the VORT sheet with my students so that they realise just how important it is to be disciplined on their 45 minute test drive. Explaining how they can lose points on every performance check is an eye opener for them. Many thanks for the VORT Manual. This is extremely useful for new MDI’s like me who often have to learn on the job through learners failing VORTS. I look forward to when DPTI start offering CBT&A to VORT only MDI’s.
